Concrete Removal
As a licensed concrete contractor, Progressive Concrete has the equipment and experience to remove existing substrates. Progressive Concrete can do the demolition and haul the material off the premises or wherever needed. With bobcats, jackhammers and dump trucks, Progressive Concrete can help in removing any size job and prepare for a new look.

Forming/Grading
Once the area is ready to be formed, Progressive Concrete can create the proper slop or grade for the job, especially if drains are involved. Progressive Concrete can form the area typically adding rebar or welded wire mesh for extra support. Progressive Concrete can form any shape area from square driveways to meandering walkways.

Pouring
Progressive Concrete is the largest concrete buyer in San Diego County. Progressive Concrete typically uses 1" Minus Rock concrete and Pea Gravel concrete only on request. With 1" Minus Rock, Progressive Concrete finds the concrete to be more durable and can support heavier weights than Pea Gravel Concrete.

Progressive Concrete can include color into or on top of the concrete depending on the finish. (Please see the "Product" section to see the various color processes.) Pouring decorative concrete is a precise craft that takes a skilled and experienced team to install. Progressive Concrete's employees have over 20 years of experience pouring concrete. Progressive Concrete's experience, tools, and technology are what allow them to produce beautiful, quality products time and time again!

Finishing
Once the concrete has been poured, cured and hardened; Progressive Concrete comes back to do finishing touches to the concrete. It is the finishing process where Progressive Concrete will fine-tune any colors or look of the concrete. Progressive Concrete can also add decorative saw cuts for additional style.

Sealing
Once all of the color has been added and all of the designs have been imprinted into the concrete, Progressive Concrete will seal the concrete. Sealer is like wax on your car; it helps protect both the color and finish of the concrete. There are different sealers you can choose from (Please see the "Products" section).

Concrete Maintenance
Progressive Concrete recommends concrete cleaning and maintenance on a weekly/monthly basis:

What to use:
- Neutral Cleaner - for lighter dirt/stains
- Heavy Duty Cleaner - for grease or serious stains
- Mop & water / dust mop
*Both the Neutral and Heavy Duty Cleaner products have a neutral PH level which is safe to use on concrete/sealed floors. You can find these products at Home Depot or Orco Stores.

What NOT to use:
-Abrasive chemicals or cleaners
-Acidic products (including products with bubbles)
-Ammonia
-Dish soap- leaves a film on the surface
-Keep fertilizer off the concrete
-Other staining products like red wine can also stain the concrete

Concrete Cleaning/Maintenance on a 6 month - 2 year basis
:
-Progressive Concrete recommends that concrete should be sealed at least once a year to once every two years, depending on the traffic on your concrete. The sealer on concrete is equivalent to the wax on your cars paint; it protects both the color and also the finish of the concrete.
