2500 PSI - 1" Minus Rock
3.5" to 4" Thick
One of our cheaper processes, broom and trowel finishes require
less work than other finishes. If a color is desired, we always use
the integral coloring system. The color concrete is then poured,
leveled and begins to cure. Once almost cured a broom or trowel is
moved over the top of the concrete for the final look. Usually broom
and troweled finishes do not require a sealer.
As with all concrete, we recommend that the concrete should sit
for a few days before any foot traffic is applied. Ideally we suggest
that no vehicles or heavy items be placed on the concrete for at least
28 days, after which the concrete will be fully cured. If 28 days is
not feasible to stay off the concrete the psi (the density of
concrete) can be increased so that the concrete will cure faster and
will be able to withstand the weight of a heavy item such as a
vehicle.
